National Bourbon Day
June 17, 2014 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Yes, you heard that right – we’re celebrating National Bourbon Day!
Bourbon is as American as apple pie. From Bourbon County, Kentucky (originally part of Virginia), it is traditionally synonymous with “whiskey” in the South. Finally recognized by the federal government as distinctly American in 1964, it is now protected under law. Bourbon makes up about 15% of the United States spirits market.
Chef Jake had fun coming up with a creative and delicious menu inspired by Bourbon.
bourbon glazed turkey 7.25
roasted turkey with kentucky bourbon sweet potatoes and local roasted vegetables
bourbon chicken or chipotle black bean sandwich 7.50
with bourbon caramel glaze, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese with house-made potato chips and bourbon-honey dijon dip
bourbon-glazed ham sandwich 6.50
bourbon-glazed ham, swiss, coleslaw, tomato and pickled onions served with a composed salad
